On Sunday, November 16, 2008 we held a special Church Conference immediately after worship
to determine the future of the proposed building project to create more space for Sunday School and
the other ministries of our church.  The vote taken at that meeting was overwhelmingly in favor of
continuing to pursue this project (29 in favor, 5 against, 1 abstention).  Fundraising will continue and
the Building Committee will keep working on securing bids as they plan the details of this addition.  
Once they have a detailed and reliable estimate of cost, church members will be asked to vote on the
project again for final approval before any construction can begin.

In October 2009, we celebrated our 15th anniversary as a church and 10th anniversary in the
building we now occupy.  This Miracle Sunday paid off the vast majority of our outstanding debt.

In June 2010, less than $10,000 remains on the debt of the church, all of which, we hope to have
paid by the end of the year.

Methodist Church has faced
dramatic growth over the last
several years.  As a result,
we have run out of Sunday
School space.  Pastor Wendy
graciously gave up her office,
but we are still bursting at
the seams!

Under the current plan, an
addition would be added to
the back of the
kitchen/sanctuary.  This
space would be primarily
used for Sunday School, but
it would also offer additional
space for the fall salad
luncheon, funerals, and other
activities.
